In Class: Freewrite on "Man in the Irony Mask"

I thought the profile on Stephen Colbert was really good. I really liked it because I have only seen "The Colbert Report" a few times and don't know that much about the man or the show. It was really interesting to read how he decided to take up his style of comedy and what shaped him as a person early in life. I'm sure I couldn't have coped as well as he did if three of my family members died in a tragic plane crash that could've been prevented. And I was impressed to read that he does almost everything in a character besides himself. And making up things in interviews made me laugh because that'd be so easy to do. I think I'll watch "The Colbert Report" more now.

I liked "Man in the Irony Mask" a little better than "Home Girl" because of the information and the subject. Colbert just seems like a more entertaining interviewee. I liked reading it more even though it was longer.
